The Gateway Solar Energy Center mailed, advertised, and filed its 60-Day Notice of Intent to File an Application. The notice is also available on the website, here.
On Thursday, June 6, 2024, the community was cordially invited to attend an informational open house for the Gateway Solar Energy Center, a 180-megawatt solar energy-generating facility in the towns of Brasher, Massena and Norfolk in St. Lawrence County.
The Open House was held at the Massena Community Center. Attendees had the opportunity to meet our team, learn more about our company and the project, and have questions answered by our subject-matter experts. Light refreshments were served.

The Article VIII regulations require that no less than sixty (60) days before the date on which the Applicant (Gateway Solar Energy Center, LLC) files an application, the Applicant must conduct at least one meeting for local community members. The purpose of the meeting will be to educate the public about the proposed project, including the anticipated application date and information regarding the future availability of local agency account funds. Notice of this meeting will be provided no sooner than thirty (30) days and no later than fourteen (14) days prior to the meeting in accordance with the publication requirements of the regulations.
